Notice:  If you have previously applied for admission (in the last 5 years) or have EVER been enrolled at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, DO NOT apply for online admission! Doing so will automatically charge a non-refundable application fee.  Readmission forms are available at our website -  nwosu.edu

NOTICE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: If you are not a U.S. citizen, and do not have a resident-alien card, DO NOT complete this application.  To apply for admission, please contact the International Student Advisor, Julie Barraza, at (580) 327-8435.

Applicants for ADMISSION - Please note that there is a $15.00 non-refundable application processing fee.  You will be prompted to submit credit card information upon completion of the application. Also, your application for admission will NOT be processed without your social security number on the application.

ALL APPLICANTS MUST COMPLETE AN IMMUNIZATION FORM BEFORE ENROLLING AT NORTHWESTERN.  This form is available on our website.  Verfication of MMR and Hepatitis B vaccinations is also required. 

By submitting your application online you are certifiying under Penalty of Perjury under the laws of Oklahoma that the facts stated on your application are true and complete to the best of your knowledge.

Information for Applicants

Thank you for choosing to apply for admission to Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Please fill out all required information for this online application. When you are finished, click the 'SUBMIT' button on the left column of any application screen. Print the application agreement statement that appears after you submit the application. The nonrefundable fee is $15 (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover Card).

International students should not use this application. For additional information, view the international office webpage www.nwosu.edu/stdserv/internat/.

The following documents are required to process this application:

  1. New freshman student
    1. Official high school transcript with final GPA, rank and number in class, graduation date (GED scores or equivalent)
    2. ACT/SAT scores

  2. New transfer student
    1. Complete official college transcript from all institutions attended showing degrees received
    2. If less than 24 college-level hours earned, high school transcript and ACT/SAT scores

  3. High school concurrent student
    1. Current high school transcript with current GPA, rank, and number in class
    2. ACT/SAT scores
    3. Signed concurrent student permission form

  4. New graduate student
    1. Complete official college transcripts from all institutions attended showing good standing and degrees received

Documents Retention:

All documents submitted to Northwestern Oklahoma State University for admission purposes become the property of the university. Documents will not be released to students nor will they be forwarded to other educational institutions or agencies.

Directory Information

In accordance with the provisions of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, if you DO NOT want directory information about yourself given to a third party you MUST fill out a Request to Withhold Directory Information form and return it to the registry office. Directory information includes name, address (current and permanent), birth date, telephone number, hometown city and state, verification of current enrollment, dates of enrollment, degrees conferred and dates, major field of study and honors, previous schools attended, hometown newspaper, and in participation officially recognized activities and sports.

After you complete a screen, click the NEXT button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be reentered prior to submittal.
