Information regarding summer educational opportunities is provided by individual organizations. The University of Oklahoma Sooner Flight Academy (ages 4-18)
The  Sooner Flight Academy demonstrates how math, science and other academic skills are used in the field of aviation.

Oklahoma City City Arts Center (all ages)
The City Arts Center offers day camps for all ages and interest levels.

Chess Camp (ages 5-16)
Chess instruction for beginners to experienced players is offered at Heritage Hall in Oklahoma City. Morning, afternoon and all-day chess camp sessions are available.

Francis Tuttle Technology Centers (grades 5-10)
Francis Tuttle Technology Center is offers summer opportunities featuring interactive classes with themes such as car care, jewelry making power catapults,Web design.

Game Builders Camp (ages 8-16)
Heritage Hall School is hosting Game Builders Camp where students can learn to build their own computer games.

Gaylord-Pickens Oklahoma Heritage Museum (ages 5-15)
The Gaylord-Pickens Oklahoma Heritage Museum offers camps and special events throughout the summer relating to Oklahoma history, characteristics and heritage.

Harn Homestead Museum (all ages)
Harn Homestead Museum offers educational activities and day camps throughout the summer in on-site historical buildings.

Lyric Theatre & Thelma Gaylord Academy (ages 7-18)
Lyric Theatre and Thelma Gaylord Academy offer day camps in music and theatre for students.

Myriad Botanical Gardens (ages 7-12)
Children join the staff of theMyriad Botanical Gardens for botanical-themed education and adventure.

National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum (ages 9-12)
The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum is a great place to visit and is offering a day camp and a western art youth camp.

Oklahoma Christian University (grades 10-12)
The Oklahoma Christian Honors Academy is a seven day college experience hosted by the University Honors Program to encourage the pursuit of excellence by gifted and talented students finishing their freshman through junior years of high school.

The OCU Bass School of Music offers music programs and learning opportunities for students of all ages.

Oklahoma City University Meinders School of Business
Two Day Mobile Application Development Workshop, June 24-25
9 a.m. - 3 p.m. 
The Mobile Application Development Lab at Oklahoma City University's Love's Entrepreneurship Center will host a free instructional event where students will learn to create basic mobile applications for either iPhone or Android devices. Space is limited.Students must register to attend. Lunch provided.
