Application Information

The University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma is located in Chickasha, a friendly community in a region of Oklahoma rich in history and culture. Information for Applicants

Thank you for your interest in the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO). We are happy you have chosen to apply for admission to our unique and distinctive liberal arts institution. This online application requires you to create an account and complete the application. There is a $15 nonrefundable fee payable upon submission of the application. At this point, USAO cannot accept online payments. Therefore, to pay the application fee by mail (money order, cashier's check, or bank check), you must complete and submit this online application, print the application agreement statement, and send it to the address listed on the right.

Freshman Applicants

Freshman applicants must submit the following:
  1. This online application. Please fill in as much information as possible.
  2. An official high school transcript indicating class rank and courses completed, or an official GED score report. Official transcripts must be sent directly from each institution/school attended, including transcripts from colleges from which courses were taken while still enrolled in high school (as a concurrent student).
  3. Official ACT or SAT scores. However, if you are over 21 or on active military duty, please contact the school for our ACT exception information.

Transfer Applicants

Transfer applicants must submit the following:
  1. This online application. Please fill in as much information as possible.
  2. Official transcripts sent directly from each postsecondary institution attended. If you have earned fewer than 24 credit hours, the Director of Admissions will require a high school transcript or GED, and official ACT scores.

International Applicants

International applicants must submit the following:
  1. This online application. Please fill in as much information as possible.
  2. Furnish a complete transcript in English from a secondary school or college showing date of graduation from a secondary school, and senior secondary school certificate examination results, if applicable.
  3. Present evidence of language proficiency of 500 or higher on paper version of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or 173 on the computer-based version or 61 on the Internet-based OR a minimum score of 460 on the paper version (140 computer) with 12 weeks of study at an approved English Language Center.
  4. Furnish proof of financial ability to travel from home to college and return, and pay all expenses while in school.

Document Retention

All documents submitted to the University of Science and Arts for admission purposes become the property of the university. Documents will not be released to students nor will they be forwarded to other educational institutions or agencies.

Instructions

To complete this online application, type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the NEXT button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be reentered prior to submittal.
